Physical and Chemical Properties Pure product is white crystal with m.p. of 200. Bulk density is 0.5g/cm3. Solubility at 25; 12g/l water, It's insoluble in common organic solvents. I.P.A. is completely soluble in water and strongly absorbed by soil. Solution are corrosive to iron and galvanized steel. It has no flammability and explosicity, stable at room temperature.
